Historically, those who manage to get in early get their devices before those lagging behind, and within hours of the pre-orders beginning, many customers were reporting estimated shipping dates of 4-6 weeks. Some were even told that June would be a ballpark ETA for a product that hits the mass market on April 24th, but much to the surprise of some, the status of some of these orders has changed to "Preparing for Shipment" - a very pleasant surprise for those who may have prepared for a long wait.
