Rumor: iPhone 13 Launching In Third Week Of Sept. With Pro Models Getting 1TB Storage

If everything goes according to expectations, Apple will announce its collection of iPhone 13 devices at some point next year. Now, a new report claims that we should expect that to happen in the third week of September.

Those looking for the maximum amount of storage in an iPhone should expect to get their hands on a 1TB iPhone 13 Pro or iPhone 13 Pro Max, too.

According to analyst Dan Ives and an investor note seen by MacRumors, the new iPhone 13 launch will take place in the third week of September, just as many might have already expected.

Our recent Asia supply chain checks for 2H put iPhone builds between 130M-150M. The iPhone 13 appears to represent 35%-45% of iPhone builds in Q3, this positive outlook gives us enhanced confidence that 2021’s launch timing will be “normal”. From a timing perspective, we believe the current iPhone 13 launch is slated for the third week in September.

Further, those hoping to be able to buy a 1TB version of the iPhone 13 are in luck, but they’ll need to buy an iPhone 13 Pro or iPhone 13 Pro Max to get their hands on all that storage. The current 512GB maximum capacity will be doubled to 1TB, according to Ives.

The iPhone 13 lineup is also expected to bring with it a smaller notch and new camera improvements, while the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max are expected to benefit from new 120Hz screens and improved video performance, too.
