Here’s PS5 release date time-frame that may have been revealed in new report. Here’s everything you need to know about this.

We know that the Sony PS5 will be with us before the end of this year, coronavirus permitting. But we don’t know when. Nor do we know how much it will cost. In fact, we don’t even know what it will look like despite Sony having already shared the DualSense controller that will ship with it. But we now might at least know when an announcement event will take place.

That’s after the latest digital edition of the Official PlayStation Magazine (OPM) appeared online. In it we learn that the same magazine will “reveal the latest games coming to PlayStation 5, and how they’ll play” in the upcoming July issue, set to go on sale on June 2nd. It’ll arrive online a few days earlier.

Based on that, some people are suggesting that Sony will be announcing everything during May. Otherwise, how would OPM be able to share details that haven’t yet been made available?

This is, of course, a fair bit of tea leave reading and it’s possible everyone is reading this how they want to. Regardless, it can’t be too much longer before Sony finally shows PS5 off to the world. And if it isn’t next month, it can’t be many more weeks after that before the big unveiling.

Especially if the company is going to get its new console out before Christmas.
