Nintendo Switch Playstand Is On Sale For $7.92, Takes The Fuss Out Of Playing And Charging At The Same Time

Amazon is selling the AmazonBasics Playstand for Nintendo Switch for just $7.92 right now. Normally, it would sell for around $12.

You don’t need to enter any special discount codes or clip any on-page coupons to take advantage of this. Just add the stand to your cart as usual and check out.

Playing your Nintendo Switch in desktop mode is a great way of enjoying the portability of the console without being tethered to using the Joy-Cons attached to the screen. But playing on a desk has its problems – you can’t charge the Switch while you play, for one.

That’s because the USB-C port is on the bottom of the Nintendo Switch which is obviously touching the table. This stand elevates the port, giving you room to plug in the cable of life.

Other improvements include giving the Switch more ventilation because it’s elevated, preventing overheating. If you’re planning a long gaming session that can be a problem. But not with this stand in use.

We’re big fans of AmazonBasics products. They’re inexpensive but solidly built and do a job without all of the bells and whistles that you don’t need. This stand is a great example of that.
