macOS 13 Ventura Compatibility: List Of Macs Compatible With Apple’s Latest Desktop OS

Here is macOS 13 Ventura compatibility list showing Macs that are compatible with Apple’s latest desktop operating system. If your Mac isn’t on this list, you’re unfortunately going to have to sit this release — and future updates — out.

Apple has now given us all of the important details about its upcoming macOS 13 update including what new features we can look forward to.

However, to be able to enjoy those features you’ll need to have a compatible Mac — and if you don’t, that might be a good indicator that it’s time to treat yourself to a new one.

Apple is generally pretty good at continuing to support older Macs when new software is released, but that doesn’t mean that you can take it for granted that yours is good to go. Some Macs have to be removed from the compatibility list for various reasons, often because new features require components that they just don’t have.

With that said, here’s a list of the Macs that are compatible with the latest and greatest that Apple has to offer — macOS 13.

  • iMac 2017 and later
  • iMac Pro 2017
  • MacBook Air 2018 and later
  • MacBook Pro 2017 and later
  • Mac Pro 2019 and later
  • Mac mini 2018 and later
  • MacBook 2017 and later

Don’t have a Mac that’s supported? Apple will likely continue to offer important security updates for the current macOS 12 Monterey release, so that’s a good thing. But you’re using an Intel Mac and, frankly, it’s time to treat yourself to a new Apple silicon machine. Go on, you deserve it!
