iOS 16 Beta 1 Download IPSW Links For iPhone, iPad Right Now

iOS 16 beta 1 download IPSW links are now live for compatible iPhone, while iPadOS 16 is also available for iPads. Here are the details.

WWDC’s opening keynote has been and gone and we now know what the big new updates will have to offer. Two of them are now good to go, with iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 both available for download by developers — although this is the first beta release, not the one that will ship to everyone later this year.

Those who are registered as developers on the Apple Developer Program can now download the first beta releases immediately by installing the required development profile. That can be found via the Apple Developer website, so be sure to go and grab that now if you’re looking to be one of the first people to try iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 outside Apple.

This is of course the first beta, meaning you should probably expect there to be a few problems along the way. The first betas are often the roughest, with Apple then ironing out the kinks as the betas progress. Those who are part of the public beta program will likely also be able to download a beta of their own within the next few weeks.

Everyone else? You’ll need to wait until September to get your hands on the new updates, right around the time that Apple also releases the next big iPhone refresh. The iPhone 14 lineup will reportedly feature four iPhones, all running the new iOS 16.

As for download links, you can download them from developer.apple.com.

Once downloaded, you can follow the instructions on how to install iOS 16 beta 1 on your device by following our guide here: Download iOS 16 Beta 1 IPSW Links And Install On iPhone 13, Pro, 12, Pro, 11, Pro, XS Max, X, XR, 8, Plus, iPad [Tutorial].

But remember, these early betas shouldn’t be installed on mission-critical devices that you need to function without a hitch. You’ve been warned!
