Jailbreak iOS 15.3 On iPhone And iPad Status Update

Looking to jailbreak iOS 15.3 on your iPhone or iPad? Here’s the latest status update on what you need to know regarding iOS 15.3 jailbreak.

Apple has made iOS 15.3 available to the world and people are setting about getting it installed onto their devices to enjoy those sweet bug fixes.

If you’re looking to get that update installed yourself you could be asking yourself one important question — what is the situation here with regard to jailbreaking?

As always, that question is a complicated one depending on what device you’re using. As has been the case with the last few updates, you’re good to go if you’re using an iPhone X or older and that isn’t going to change. That’s the case because the checkra1n jailbreak is bootrom-based, meaning it can’t be patched in software. That, in turn, means that no iOS update is going to prevent an iPhone X or older from being jailbroken. Those with an iPhone X or older will be able to jailbreak effectively forever.

Anyone using something newer than an iPhone X, including a brand new iPhone 13, is, unfortunately, going to have to live without their jailbreak for the time being.

There is of course the chance that you could see that change in the future, but we can’t promise that and you might just have to live without those tweaks for now. Hopefully things change in the future.
