iPhone SE 3 Benchmarks Show It’s Just As Fast As iPhone 13

iPhone SE 3 benchmarks are here and have been compared to iPhone 13 series. Here are the details on this.

Apple announced the refreshed iPhone SE 3 earlier this week and with the device getting the same A15 Bionic chip as the iPhone 13 family, there were high hopes in terms of performance.

Now, it seems that those hopes were justified after early benchmarks show that the new iPhone SE can provide performance on par with the best of the best iPhone 13.

Early testing shows that the new iPhone SE scored 1695 on the single-core test and 4021 on the Geekbench 5 multi-core test. Compare that with the iPhone 13 mini’s score of 1686 on the single-core test and 4489 on the multi-core test, and things all match up rather neatly. Both devices feature 4GB of RAM, which explains the similar results. The higher-end iPhone 13 models have extra RAM, which means they score more strongly.

The new iPhone SE comes with 5G support to go with that A15 Bionic and is a bargain offering at just $429. Three colors are available and storage options begin at 64GB, perhaps the only disappointment. The new iPhone can be pre-ordered now and will begin shipping next Friday, March 18.

Apple also announced the new Mac Studio, iPad Air, and more devices during the March 8 event and they are all also now available for pre-order ahead of next week’s ship date.
