iPhone 14’s Rumored Pill-Shaped Cutout Can Now Be Tried, Here’s How

The latest round of iPhone 14 rumors suggest that we can look forward to Apple reworking the notch somewhat, possibly doing away with it altogether.

The iPhone 13 models made the notch smaller, but now Apple seems set to ditch it in favor of a new pill-shaped cutout. And a new mockup makes it look stunning.

The consensus seems to be growing that Apple will put the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max’s front-facing camera into a pill-shaped hole, with the Face ID sensors all living under the display.

That will hopefully give us some more screen real estate and this mockup shows what that could look like.

Created by developer Jeff Grossman, it’s pretty great. Check it out.

What’s more, you can even take this for a spin yourself.

Apple is likely to announce the new iPhone 14 lineup in or around September, later this year. If it looks anything like this, Apple could be onto another winner. Here’s hoping it brings the battery percentage back now that there’s going to be all that extra space, too!
