How To Enable Facebook Dark Mode In iOS App

Facebook is rolling out dark mode for its iPhone and iPad app to more testers than ever and there’s a good chance you can take it for a spin yourself.

Not everyone has access to it, but we’ve also seen plenty of reports that people do have the new option on their accounts. Users can check whether they have access to dark mode right now and if they do, enabling it is dead easy.

We’re going to run through how to make all this happen and then you can try it out for yourself. Sound good?

Of course it does!

  1. Make sure that you’re running the latest version of the Facebook app. Check there are no updates available from the App Store.
  2. Launch Facebook on your device.
  3. Tap the three horizontal lines in the bottom-right corner of the app
  4. Tap Settings & Privacy.
  5. Tap Dark Mode.
  6. Select whether you want it enabled or disabled.

That really is all there is to it. If you don’t see the option to enable dark mode, fear not. Facebook seems to be rolling this out to more and more people all the time. It’s only going to be a matter of time before it’s enabled on all accounts – including yours.

If you can’t wait, the website is also an option.
