Download: macOS 12.3, tvOS 15.4, watchOS 8.5, HomePod 15.4 Released

On the back of Apple’s March 8 event Apple TV, Apple Watch, Mac, and HomePod owners can now download tvOS 15.4, watchOS 8.5, macOS 12.3, and HomePod 15.4, respectively. A plethora of device-based software updates for Apple fans.

Let’s derive right in and take a high-level overview of what’s new and improved with tvOS 15.4, watchOS 8.5, macOS 12.3, and HomePod 15.4.

tvOS 15.4: tvOS 15.4 brings several improvements for Apple TV owners. The release adds captive Wi-Fi network support, which works in connection with an iPhone or iPad, as well as an “Up Next” queue on the Now Playing screen.

watchOS 8.5: This latest Apple Watch firmware update is very limited in terms of features and additions but does introduce support for a number of new emoji characters. Apple has also included the usual bug fixes and overall improvements that are designed to improve the experience on all compatible Apple Watch models.

macOS 12.3: The biggest improvement and offering within macOS 12.3 is the addition of Universal Control. This feature will work side-by-side with iPadOS 15.4 and iOS 15.4. AirPods owners will also be able to update the firmware of the AirPods when they are connected to a Mac running macOS 12.3. Again, macOS 12.3 also introduces a slew of new emoji characters that can be used in communications.

HomePod 15.4: For those still using a HomePod, 15.4 brings Dutch voice recognition for Siri, which may signify that the HomePod Mini is likely going to be coming to the Netherlands sooner rather than later.
