In a surprise move today, Apple has actually approved the fastest (arguably) mobile web browser - Opera Mini for the iPhone platform. It will be available in the App Store for free in under 24 hours from now. This is what the CEO of Opera said in an official press release today.
The wonder kid George Hotz (aka Geohot) has now managed to jailbreak the newly release iPhone OS 4 Beta as well. He is the second one, behind the iPhone Dev-Team to achieve this feat. The following picture was posted by him on his twitter account which showed blackra1n running on iPhone OS 4.
If you want to have the look and feel of iPhone OS 4 right now, without having to update your iPhone and iPod touch to OS 4, then “iPhone OS 4” theme for Winterboard is the way to go. This theme includes wallpapers for both home screen and the lock screen, along with the new icon for “Calculator” app. This is how it looks like.
Those who might’ve tried the beta version of iPhone OS 4 might’ve noticed that Safari’s search doesn’t have the Google branded button anymore. The button for the search simply reads “Search” now instead of “Google”, even though the search engine (Google) remains the same.

Apple yesterday unveiled the new iPhone OS 4 in an event held at their 1-Infinite loop campus in Cupertino. Final version of iPhone 4 will be released for iPhone and iPod touch with the next-gen iPhone at WWDC this year. The infamous iPhone hacker Geohot has just posted keys to decrypt iPhone 3.2 for iPad. These keys allows you to decrypt iPad .ipsw files so that you can explore it for exploits. This is what he said on his blog.
