Prior to its announcement back in September of last year, the tech world was still aware of Apple's efforts to introduce a wearable, and while Apple Watch is no longer a big secret, the company did well to keep most of the interesting stuff under wraps until announcement. Providing a wide range of functions, one of Apple Watch's main assets is its ability to track fitness and health data, but preparing its concerted push towards the lucrative wellbeing has taken a lot of research in preparation for the mass market. Indeed, the secretive Apple Watch health lab has been integral to readying what will hopefully transpire as a refined fitness companion, and having remained an enigma for so long, we now get our first peek at what exactly goes on behind the closed doors.

When Apple's first wearable - the Apple Watch - goes on sale on April 24th, flyers who use Emirates as their airline of choice will be able to use a new Apple Watch app as part of their flying experience.
