Oppo, like most smartphone vendors, is looking for new and interesting ways to entice consumers, and is currently at the forefront of an emerging trend of Chinese manufacturers to deliver near bezel-free, edge-to-edge displays on handsets, like the Sharp AQUOS Crystal. Its upcoming device, which has been leaked via numerous channels throughout China, appears as though it has bits missing either side of the display, and while it's an interesting concept, one has to wonder whether the cool-looking gadget would make any practical sense.

Google Play is a content portal used by tens of millions on a daily basis, but while it's packed to the gills with many great, and many not-so-great apps and games, it remains a work in progress. A common gripe, especially among concerned parents, is that there's no strict age ratings system in place, and since regulations vary from country to country, the Play Store has been a bit of a free-for-all at times. Now, though, the Big G has introduced a new age-ratings system that adheres specifically to the country or location that an account is based in, and the company has also revealed that its app moderation / approval process now includes human beings.
Google's Android Wear has been designed in a way that suits the search giant, and as such, products like Apple's iPhone are not officially supported. This will probably change at some point in the future as the watch-tailored version of Google's platform matures, but for the time being, any integration between iOS and Android Wear takes quite a bit of effort and, usually, a jailbreak. One developer has managed to get Android Wear answering iPhone calls without the intervention of a jailbreak, though, and with a demonstration video also supplied as proof, we get, perhaps, a preview of how Android Wear and the iPhone may eventually interact.
