Apple Once Again Ranked As The World’s Most Valuable Brand Of 2020

Forbes has released its list of the most valuable brands in the world for 2020 and Apple finds itself in the top spot, beating out Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Facebook. They made up the remainder of the top five.

Alongside Apple sitting in top spot there were some other notable improvements for other brands including Netflix and Adidas.

Several brands had notable shifts in the annual rankings, which examines financial data from the previous fiscal year. Visa rose from 25th to 18th, Adidas went from 61st to 51st, and Netflix jumped from 38th to 26th. Some luxury brands also saw significant changes, with Chanel going from 79th to 52nd and Cartier from 64th to 56th.

Apple tends to do well in these kinds of lists for obvious reasons and with the company continuing to launch products and, importantly services, there is no sign of the money-making machine slowing down. The Apple One subscription bundle is due soon and is sure to so well.

It hasn’t all been good news for Apple in 2020, though.

It’s in the middle of a legal spat with Epic Games over how it handles the App Store, and regulators around the globe are looking into similar issues relating to how the company deals with developers and prevents them from selling apps outside the App Store.
