Apple Music Says Artists Can More Easily Share Their ‘Milestones’ With Fans

Apple Music has announced a new feature that will make it easier than ever for artists to share their Milestones with their fans.

The Milestones can be turned into Facebook posts, tweets, and Instagram Stories with what appears to be a few presses of a couple of buttons.

The feature is designed to give artists a way to share their “big moments” with their fans and they’ll do it right from within the Apple Music for Artists app.

Share your big moments right from the Apple Music for Artists iOS app. With just a few taps you can let your fans know about new playlists featuring your songs, how many Shazams you have in a given country or region, and other notable milestones you’ve hit on Apple Music.

Artists who want to get more creative will also have the option of creating custom posts via email and Messages, if that’s more their style.

Stand out with your fans by customizing posts about your milestones. Available via email or Messages, you or your team will receive raw assets that will populate with suggested marketing text, a share link to your content on Apple Music, and three images in different sizes for your team to choose from.

The feature is live right now and artists can learn more about it over on the Apple Music website. Whether any of them will actually use it, and for any length of time, remains to be seen.
