Apple Highly Likely To Announce 16-Inch MacBook Pro Tommorrow

There have been expectations of a new 16-inch MacBook Pro for weeks now, and it sounds like there’s every chance that we will see it arrive sooner, rather than later. That’s after Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman took to Twitter to suggest that media is already being shown the machine.

Based on Gurman’s tweets, some media already saw the 16-inch MacBook Pro today. He then pondered whether Apple would announce the notebook today or, more likely, tomorrow once the early hands-on embargo is lifted.

Similar to when the AirPods Pro were announced last month, a number of members of the Apple media have made a trip to New York City over the last few days. That lends further credence to the suggestion that they are there to see what Apple has to share. And that would only be a 16-inch MacBook Pro at this point.

Of course, all of this is little more than people putting two and two together.

Whether the answer is four or 56 remains to be seen, but with images of the new 16-inch MacBook Pro available in recent macOS updates, it seems clear that the machine will arrive imminently. Now the only question is how imminent is it?

Only question remaining from multiple folks: is the announcement tomorrow (briefings day) or Wednesday (when review embargoes lift)? Also, 24 hours for a review seems like so little time, so I’d hope the stories are framed as “previews” or “first looks.”

Rumors of new, larger displayed MacBook Pro have many people excited. The new display, along with a rethought keyboard could make this the most popular Apple notebook in years.
