Paul Morris·September 19, 2012
With the holiday shopping season almost upon us, the chances are that consumers have been looking for something to spend their hard earned cash on to fill in the additional time that they find themselves with over the long winter nights. Sony have risen to the challenge by taking the opportunity during their Tokyo Games Show to announce a newly redesigned PlayStation 3 that will be available almost immediately for console fans to get their hands on. Although, essentially packing the same power as the original console, the new PS3 is 25% lighter than the current PlayStation 3 Slim model and 50% lighter than the original model.

As We Brace Ourselves For GTA V, Here’s Some Little Known Facts About The Franchise [VIDEO]

Paul Morris·August 23, 2012
Last November we were treated to an official confirmation that Rockstar Games were indeed knuckling down and beginning the full-time development process of the fifth iteration of their insanely popular Grand Theft Auto games. Yesterday, the company raised the excitement levels a little further by releasing some official and rather splendid looking screenshots from the game giving us a little glimpse of the adrenaline fuelled capers that we can expect from the fictional city of Los Santos.

Ben Reid·August 23, 2012
Sony is renowned for delivering a decent television, even if the price is often in excess of what the average consumer can / will pay. The company is set to bring forth an 80-inch XBR LED TV with 4K resolution, and from then on will begin to push 4K into the market, sans 3DTV a couple of years back.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted Trailer Shows Off Awesome Multiplayer Snippets [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·August 17, 2012
Need for Speed is one of the most exciting driving titles on the market. If you like tooling around in super cars, injecting them with subhuman doses of nitrous before bursting corners and markers at light-speed, then you've more than likely played at least one iteration of Need for Speed, and the next in line - Need for Speed: Most Wanted - won't be breaking from that mold for anybody. In fact, it's one of those enthralling motor-based gaming series where very little braking is actually done at all, and although it can be quite repetitive in terms of gameplay, the missions and achievements always keep drivers coming back for more.

Naval Battle Trailer For Assassin’s Creed III Surfaces [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·August 16, 2012
In the gaming world, Assassin's Creed is kind of a big deal, and if you like your stealth/action adventure titles, then it's more than likely you're a fan of the series. Sure, it doesn't manage to garner the same kind of following as your Halos and Call of Duty(s) of the world, but it's certainly not far off, and naturally, Assassin's Creed III is one of the most hotly anticipated future titles on the horizon.

Native YouTube App Finally Arrives For PlayStation 3

Ben Reid·August 14, 2012
YouTube is by far and away the most popular viral video site out there, but unfortunately, it's often let down by applications (or lack thereof). Take iOS for example; the native YouTube app is a sluggish affair which has seen little change from the days of iPhone OS, and most now use the vastly superior web-based app to catch up on the latest music videos, drop tests, and amateur comedy sketches.
