Nomad Wallet For iPhone Features Built-In Battery, Lightning Cable For Charging On The Go

Paul Morris·November 4, 2015
Nomad has just announced another extremely useful accessory that has been built purely with Apple's iPhone in mind. The company's new 'Wallet for iPhone' has the appearance of an everyday, premium looking wallet that should hold cards, cash, and other miscellaneous items that one chooses to carry within the foldable accessory. However, its been designed and created with a little more than holding credit and debit cards in mind, thanks to its hidden and rechargeable lithium-ion battery that provides power on the go.

Awesome New Portable Charger Aims To Bring Motion Charging To Smartphones [Video]

Oliver Haslam·October 13, 2014
Modern smartphones are great and all, but even with the trend of ever increasing screen sizes making it possible for manufactures to squeeze larger batteries into them, today's flagship handsets just don't last long enough between charges. There are exceptions to the rule, granted, but as a whole it's likely you're going to be charging that new phone of yours by the end of the day, especially if you know you won't be able to charge it the next.

Ringly Smart Ring For iPhone Brings Calls, Texts, Email Notifications To Your Finger [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·June 11, 2014
Although, as a male, I don't frequently encounter the issue of missing an important call because my phone is lost inside my handbag or purse, I do know that this is an issue affecting a large portion of the female population. To combat this, start-up Ringly has developed a nifty smart ring that offers customizable Bluetooth notifications, flashing different color LED lights and vibration patterns dependent on the nature of the alert. Not only is it highly functional, but it's a very stylish, inconspicuous gadget, and with a flexible, color-coded notification system, it looks a very well thought-out product.

This Case For iPhone Keeps Your Device Charged Using Solar Power [VIDEO]

Paul Morris·August 28, 2012
I think it's a pretty safe to assume that many iPhone users have found themselves in a precarious situation of being out and about somewhere miles away from home - or any usable power source - only to answer a phone call or send that all-important text message and watch their phone power down as the battery sinks past that horrible 1% mark. It's a horrible but an oh-so-familiar feeling, and unfortunately one that comes as part and parcel of owning a portable but power hungry device like the iPhone.

Relive The 1990s With This Flip Case For iPhone

Paul Morris·March 12, 2012
Although I am relatively still youthful and full of vitality and zest, I am old enough to remember the good old days of yester-year when technology was nowhere near as advanced or feature packed as it is now, but we were still blown away by being able to play block based games on the latest Motorola flip phone or set polyphonic ringtones on our Nokia. I will always remember bounding through the school gates on a Monday morning with my Nokia 3310 in hand, excited about showing classmates the 'Snake' game which came built in with it, feeling a sense of pride that I was one of the few to have a mobile telephone at school.

Oliver Haslam·November 8, 2011
Pop quiz time! What's better than an iPhone case? An iPhone case with a built-in projector, correct! What could possibly be any better than a handy way to protect your iPhone from all the scuffs and scrapes of a busy day and being able to show that Keynote presentation at the same time? Texas Instruments and hardware company Brookstone have teamed up to offer just that.

iControlPad: Full-Blown Gaming Control Pad For iPhone And Android Goes On Sale At Last

Oliver Haslam·November 5, 2011
If there is one thing we like at Redmond Pie, it's iOS gaming. We're not sure if it's the feel of that oleo-phobic screen in our sweaty hands, or the fact that iOS games fit just nicely with out goldfish-like attention spans, but we do love us an iPhone game. Or iPad, for that matter.
