iOS 26.2 Beta 1 New Features, Release Notes, Changelog

Here are iOS 26.2 beta 1 new features, release notes and changelog that you as an iPhone user may need to know about.

As you may already know by now, Apple released iOS 26.2 beta 1 just a day after the company seeded first beta of iOS 26.1 to public.

With iOS 26.2, Apple is bringing some new features on compatible devices and here we will try to list everything we have found so far in beta 1 of iOS 26.2.

So, without further ado, here’s everything new iOS 26.2 beta 1:

  • AirPods Live Translation coming to EU.
  • Liquid Glass gets Lock Screen slider controller to adjust translucency on screen.
  • Alarms and timers added to Reminders app.
  • Apple News app in iOS 26.2 is getting a redesign.
  • Apple is modifying Sleep Score for sleep tracking. Very High replaces Excellent as the highest category, and the thresholds for each category have changed.
  • Apple’s AI is enhancing the Apple Podcasts app experience. Starting with iOS 26.2, the app can automatically generate chapters, link to referenced podcasts, and collect show links.
