Looks like Google loves Pac-Man as much as we do! To celebrate it’s 30th anniversary, Google has shown its love for the game by bringing a live playable Pac-Man game as the new Doodle on the Google.com homepage.
Google today has unveiled the much awaited Android 2.2 OS at the I/O 2010 conference held in San Francisco. Since this release has brought lots of new features to Android platform, we decided to put it up against the upcoming iPhone OS 4.0 and Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 to see which one comes out on top.
Finally the wait is over for Android fans! Android 2.2 Froyo has been officially unveiled at the Google I/O 2010 conference today. It has tons of new features and improvements over the previous Android 2.1 Éclair version. Here is a list of everything which is new to this release.
Need For Speed: Shift on iPhone and iPad is one hell of a game, with great and stunning graphics along with smooth game play. And if you think that only Apple fans will get all the quality gaming love? you’ll be wrong. Sprint and Electronic Arts has confirmed that Need For Speed: Shift will hit Android Market on 4th of June, the same day as HTC EVO 4G’s launch.
A video has popped up which shows Nexus One running the upcoming Android 2.2 Froyo update. It is difficult to say whether or not this is really the Android 2.2 (Froyo) update running on the Nexus One, but one thing which we are sure of is that it look different, as also apparent from the screenshot below. Finally, Quake III (aka Quake 3) has been successfully ported to the Google Nexus One! The game runs smoothly with a high frame rate, thanks to Nexus One’s powerful hardware. The great thing about it is that you can give it a go on almost any Android phone as long as it has Android 1.6 or higher. Android 1.5 and below is a no go for now.

Skyfire, which has been around for quite some time now has proved itself to be a potential browser for Nokia and Windows phones. It is probably the only browser which can pull off Flash video without any hassle. YouTube or Facebook videos, you name it, Skyfire will pull it off.
In a day full of leaks, details have emerged about a new Android 2.1 powered phone by Dell. Dubbed as “Thunder”, the phone features similar specs to that of its Windows Phone 7 counterpart which is known as Dell Lightning.
