Swype keyboard, which is currently officially available only on Windows Mobile based Samsung Omnia II has been leaked for Android devices. This leaked preview version of Skype is optimized for high resolution Android devices such as the Motorola Droid and HTC Droid Eris. This preview version of Swype for Android devices is said to be incompatible with the older WVGA screens.

The first unboxing pictures of the upcoming Google Nexus One phone has been leaked via djrobrob on twitter. The design of the box is very Google-like with white background color, and “Nexus One” and “Google” branding in black to go on top of it. Though the design of the box may not be the final thing, it leaves little to no doubt that this phone is indeed going to be a Google branded phone.
The upcoming Google Nexus One phone with Android 2.1 has this built-in feature with which you can set animated wallpaper as your background just like how you can do on HTC HD2 with HTC Sense. Since Android 2.1 has now been ported over to Droid, it is now possible to run animated wallpapers. A Russian site by the name of Mobiset.ru has managed to grab, what looks like first clear photographs of the upcoming sequel to the popular Motorola Droid phone, called Sholes Tabled. Sholes Tablet, which is also sometimes knows as the Droid 2.0 will be the flagship device of Motorola in the year 2010 and it is most likely to ship with Android 2.1 in the first half of 2010.
Motorola Droid on Verizon Wireless in US doesn't support multitouch functionality in most apps even though the hardware is fully capable of running it. This is probably due to the US iPhone patents as the upcoming Google Nexus One phone will also have no multitouch functionality in browser and Maps app. The European version of Motorola Droid, called Motorola Milestone is fully capable of pinch to zoom and tap functionality just like the iPhone is.
