Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Specs Leak And There Isn’t A Whole Lot That’s New

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 4 is one of the hottest new phones of the year and a new leak appears to have outed the specifications that we can expect the new foldable to have. If these specs are legit, we shouldn’t expect a huge jump in a variety of departments.

Kicking things off with the displays, Twitter leaker Ice Universe and Yogesh Brar say that we can expect a 7.6-inch QXGA+ AMOLED display at 120Hz on the inside while a 6.2-inch HD+ 120Hz AMOLED display will live on the outside.

Those largely match the specifications of the current Galaxy Fold device which may disappoint some.

In terms of the processor, we can expect a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 which makes plenty of sense in 2022. The leak also suggests that 12GB or 16GB of RAM will be offered with storage options of up to 512GB.

Cameras will consist of a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 12-megapixel ultrawide that will be paired with a 12-megapixel 3x telephoto. Selfies will be handled by an under-display 4-megapixel part.

However, those who are disappointed by these specifications need not worry, with  Ice Universe noting that the small display changes will include a rejigged hinge.

Ultimately, we’ll need to wait and see what all of this turns into. Samsung hasn’t officially announced the Galaxy Fold 4 yet and when it does there is sure to be more to it than a spec sheet — fingers crossed for something that gets the pulse racing once again.
