Grand Theft Auto Radio Stations Now Officially Available As iTunes And Spotify Playlists

Paul Morris·April 12, 2013
Rockstar Games and their Grand Theft Auto franchise have always managed to split public opinion right down the middle. The game, originally created by David Jones and Mike Daily, has managed to court with controversy ever since the original 2D release back in 1997. With the latest installation of GTA set to hit our shelves later on this year, Rockstar could be forgiven for sitting back and getting their heads down to finalize and polish the game, but instead they have taken the time to release part of the franchise's greatest appeal - the music.

Rant: I’m Ditching Windows 8 PC For A Mac And Here’s Why

Uzair Ghani·April 12, 2013
I’ve been using Windows 8 as my primary OS for a long time now, yes, that includes the Developer Preview, the Consumer Preview, the Release Preview and of course the final release build. Therefore, it’s safe to say that I’ve seen Windows 8 evolve into what it is today and I would call myself a veteran user. But sadly, I’m thoroughly disappointed and have decided to migrate to an OS X powered Mac. Read on, if you want to know why.

Add Facebook And Twitter Sharing Options To The Stock iPhone Notes App With ‘ShareNotes’

Ben Reid·April 12, 2013
iOS 5 brought native Twitter integration to the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, and this was followed up nicely with a deal to bring a similar offering to iOS 6 with Facebook. But while this deep affiliation has done wonders for seamless sharing of various content, the Notes app is missing this ability to share a note via Facebook or The Twitters. Thanks to a nifty little tweak called ShareNotes, this restriction needn't stop you sharing your notes with your followers and friends, and although Twitter's 140 character restriction will also apply to your notes as well, at least you won't have to be cutting and pasting anymore.

Double Tap On iPhone Music App Icon To Reveal Quick Playback Controls With ‘MusicWidget’

Ben Reid·April 12, 2013
Widgets may not be as commonplace on iOS as they are on Android, but the jailbreak scene has presented us with a great deal more in terms of options than we'd otherwise have at stock level. MusicWidget is a very simple, clean, and aesthetically in-keeping widget for music fans which presents you with album art, song title, and artist when you double-tap the Music app icon on your home screen. Said information reveals itself in the same way a folder does when opened, while the icon is in turn minimized to place further focus on the widget itself.

iPhone 5S, Entry-Level iPhone And Retina iPad mini Hit With Production Delays

Ben Reid·April 12, 2013
Apple is largely expected to release a Retina-displaying version of its iPad mini this year, along with an incrementally-improved iPhone dubbed the "iPhone 5S". According to a research note from Ming-chi Kuo of KGI Securities, both have hit delays, and with the iPhone 5S release date initially being touted for announcement in June in preparation for a July release, it now appears as though neither will be hitting the market anytime soon.

Apple Planning To Debut A “Killer” iOS 7 App At WWDC [Report]

Ben Reid·April 12, 2013
Like every software vendor, Apple likes to impress users of iOS with one or a number of so-called "killer" apps, and while some have gone down particularly well in recent years, others, like iOS 6's Apple Maps, have fared decidedly worse. With iOS 7 now in the works for release later this year, we're expecting some significant changes to the look and feel of the Cupertino's mobile OS in general, but aside from a lot of blogosphere-fuelled bluster, we've heard precious few details with regards to what exactly we should be expecting. Morgan Stanley's Katy Huberty has sought to shed some light on the matter by revealing that she expects the Tim Cook-led outfit to unveil a “killer app” in the form of a mobile wallet. More details can be found right after the jump.

First Alleged Budget iPhone Part Leaks Online [IMAGE]

Ben Reid·April 11, 2013
The existence of an entry-level iPhone, at least in concept, has been a matter of fierce debate over the past couple of months. It is widely thought Apple could use such a device as bait in a push to increase its presence in developing markets, but with the Cupertino company ever reluctant to sell less-capable devices to meet that low price point, there have been quite a few naysayers. Today, however, the guys over at Japanese blog Macotakara have gotten their hands on a previously-unseen dual-head vibration motor, which, due to its low-end nature, is not the kind of thing you'd expect Apple to be packing into the eventual successor to the iPhone 5.

Google has taken the opportunity to bring in a little goodness into the lives of Nexus 10 owners by introducing the first official accessory for the 10-inch tablet. To compliment the sleek design of the Nexus 10 the company has seen fit to hit the ground running with a dark grey book type cover that is now available for purchase through the Google Play Store. More details and the purchase link coming up right after the break.

How To Anonymously Share And Receive Photos From Android Devices

Aatif·April 11, 2013
The photo sharing phenomenon saw much more growth with the advent of smartphones than any other mechanism, especially with platforms like Android and iOS. Even though Facebook is the unofficial king in the photo sharing ring, the immense popularity that Instagram saw made the whole idea much more famous, and when the photo sharing mobile network expanded from being an iPhone exclusive to Android, things definitely took off even further. Today, photo sharing is one of the most popular and religiously observed social networking phenomena that you’ll find all across the internet.

Transform Your iPhone 5 Into HTC One (Sense 5) With This Amazing Theme

Ben Reid·April 11, 2013
We could be just a couple of months away from gaining an insight into what Apple plans to do with iOS 7, but as the Cupertino company's software development team continues to work in collaboration with lead hardware designer Jony Ive to create the next revision, many Apple fans have also been offering their own ideas on what could be done to improve the look of the famed mobile OS. We've seen quite a few concept designs hitherto, but a theme we recently discovered over at MacCiti rather delightfully combines elements of the current iOS interface with a tiled, Windows Phone-esque appearance which in turn borrows from the HTC One design. It's an interesting recipe for sure, but as I suspect you'll agree after seeing the screenshots below, it's one that works very well indeed.
