Leaker Claims Apple Has New AirPods And Apple TV 4K With A12X CPU “Ready To Ship”

All eyes are on next month’s WWDC and the expected announcement of iOS 14, iPadOS 14, macOS 10.16, and more.

But there are still some new product announcements to come, according to one reliable leaker. YouTuber Jon Prosser says that new AirPods and an Apple TV are “ready to ship” already.

In a post yesterday Prosser said that a new Apple TV 4K with an A12X processor is in hte cards with 64GB and 128GB of storage options available.

New AirPods are also thought to be on the horizon, with DigiTimes having already made noise about a so-called AirPods Pro Lite product. It’s likely that’s simply refreshed AirPods with an in-ear design just like AirPods Pro, but that isn’t yet confirmed.

The fact that the products are could “drop any time” means we might get new products imminently. Apple has recently shared new iPad Pro, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro refreshes and it’s unlikely the new releases will debut during WWDC. That would suggest an announcement in the next few weeks is more likely.

Apple’s June WWDC 2020 event will be an online-only affair thanks to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The event will be free to all registered developers although the way the whole thing will go down is still unclear. Apple has said that the Apple Developer iPad and iPhone app, as well as the Apple Developer website, will be the delivery system for the event.
