Entry-Level AirPods Pro Could Launch Next Month Along With New 13-Inch MacBook Pro

Rumors of a new version of Apple’s hugely popular AirPods are nothing new, but now we’re hearing that they might be ready to hit virtual store shelves as soon as next month.

That comes via Jon Prosser who has been on something of a roll of late. He successfully predicted when Apple would announce the iPhone SE, so this might be worth paying attention to.

We’ve been hearing from DigiTimes that AirPods Pro Lite have been in the works for weeks, so it’s possible that’s what is in the pipeline for next month. In reality we expect these to be AirPods that feature an in-ear design just like AirPods Pro. But they won’t feature the same active noise canceling technology, allowing Apple to keep the price down.

That’s not all, either. Prosser took to Twitter to share details about the AirPods while also saying that they might arrive alongside a new MacBook Pro next month.

If that’s the case it could mean a new 13-inch MacBook Pro is coming, although it isn’t clear whether that will represent a move to 14 inches as has been expected of late.

Apple replaced the 15-inch MacBook Pro with a new 16-inch model, so it stands to reason that the 13-inch MacBook Pro would also grow slightly, too. Hopefully, assuming these claims are accurate, we will have a new machine one way or another next month.
