iOS 14 Beta 3 OTA Profile File Download Available Without Dev Account, Here’s How To Get It

Here’s how to download the iOS 14 beta 3 and iPadOS 14 beta 3 OTA configuration profile file without having access to an active Apple developer account or having your device’s UDID registered on an account. This will get you up and running with iOS 14 beta 3 without having to wait for public beta 3.

As you may know, Apple has now released iOS 14 beta 3 and iPadOS 14 beta 3 into the development community. That release means that those with an active developer account can get immediate access to the latest iteration. And for the rest of us?

Well, if you don’t have access to a developer account then this process is going to take care of that and get you up and running with the latest release. Let’s dive right in and take a look.

Step 1: Grab your iOS 14/iPadOS 14-c0mpatible device and launch Safari. Navigate to this link here.

Step 2: Once the page has loaded, select the Download option to start the download of the relevant configuration profile to your device.

Step 3: Grab your iPhone or iPad and head to Settings > Profile Downloaded section and install the profile that you put onto the device using the above website.

Step 4: With the profile installed to your device, head to Settings > General > Software Update and wait for the device to communicate with Apple and pull up the relevant download for that specific device. Once it connects, you should see the “iOS 14 Developer beta 3” show up as an available download.

Step 5: This is, of course, what you wanted to happen. Select the Download and Install option to start the process of getting iOS 14/iPadOS 14 beta 3 onto your device. The rest of the process is all down to Apple and the device.

Once you have followed the steps above, the device and Apple’s servers will do the rest in terms of the installation of iOS 14 beta 3 or iPadOS 14 beta 3 to your device. You simply need to sit back, exercise some patience, and wait for the process to finish. Keep in mind that this is Apple’s third beta of iOS 14 so, as good as iOS 14 is, it’s not going to be perfect and entirely flawless.
