Have you ever looked at your Mac‘s wallpaper and wondered whether it could look a little fancier? Sure you have, and Apple has made some great macOS wallpapers over the years.

What if you could take each and every one of them and combine them? Make them all into one super-wallpaper, if you will? Now you can, and the result is amazing.

It was all done by iOS themer @J3nRa1n who shared the results of their work on Christmas day. Amazingly, the wallpaper’s creator didn’t think that anyone would want to use it. How wrong they were!

No one asked for this. But here it is: every macOS wallpaper from Mac OS X 10.0 Cheetah to macOS 10.15 Catalina combined. I highly doubt that anyone will ever use this.

The image really does need to be seen to be believed, and while it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, I’m a huge fan of it. And there’s even a 5K version of the image available for those who want to really geek out on a huge iMac. Because who wouldn’t?

As a little Easter egg, anyone clicking through to this image will also spot some bonus images on Google Drive. Those are iPhone wallpapers combined to make a single image, and again it’s pretty amazing. If that wasn’t enough, there’s one that’s a combination of just the colorful iPhone 11 wallpapers, too.

Download them all; you won’t regret it!
