With 2020 just around the corner, Steam has compiled a list of the top games on its platform. The compilation is divided into the best sellers, top new releases, best selling VR games, top early access graduates, and most played games.
The games in each category are further sorted by month or into sub-categories, such as Platinum, Gold, and Silver for top sellers.
There weren’t any big surprises in the annual compilation, with the likes of CS:GO, PUBG, Dota 2, Destiny 2, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and the recently released Halo: Reach being prominent features in multiple categories.

Even if you aren’t interested in rankings of this kind, it might be worth it to look through these if only to decide what games to add to your wishlist.
Steam is holding a big sale on its titles right now, including most of the ones in its end-of-year compilation. The sale ends January 2. If you’re going to purchase you might want to get to it sooner rather than later.
