You can now download iOS 16.1 final OTA profile file and IPSW links for iPhone 14, 14 Pro, iPhone 13, 12, 11, X, XR, and iPhone 8. Here are the details.

The new iOS 16.1 update arrives just weeks after Apple also made the first iOS 16 update available to the public. Since then we’ve seen various releases as Apple works to squash bugs related to the update as well as the new iPhone 14 lineup. Now, iOS 16.1 is here with more fixes as well as some new features.

Top of the list of features is the arrival of iCloud Shared Photo Library, allowing people to share photos more easily with friends and family. There is also support for using Apple Fitness+ without an Apple Wach for the first time, while key sharing has also been added to Apple wallet.

One notable addition is Live Activities, allowing apps to put new, active notifications on the iPhone 14 Pro’s Lock Screen as well as the Dynamic Island. Other iPhones will get support for Live Activities, but without those two features.

Anyone who wants to install the IOS 16.1 update can grab it on their iPhone right now by heading over to Settings > General > Software Update. Those who would prefer to download the update and install it manually using the IPSW files can do that by following the links below.
