Download: iOS 13.3.1 Final IPSW Links, OTA Update And iPadOS 13.3.1 Released For Compatible Devices

You can now download iOS 13.3.1 final IPSW links and OTA update for supported iPhones and iPadOS 13.3.1 final for all compatible iPad models that you may own. Here are the details.

After a period of internal and external testing, it is perhaps unsurprising that Cupertinio-based Apple Inc. has removed the “pre-release” label from iOS 13.3.1 and iPadOS 13.3.1 by releasing both versions into the public domain for immediate global consumption.

As is generally the case, device owners are able to grab the update(s) as an over-the-air (OTA) installation or are able to grab the specific pre-compiled IPSW file if they would prefer a manual installation.

Many iPhone and iPad owners will feel that Apple still has some way to go to make iOS 13/iPadOS 13 the solid and stable version of firmware that they believe it should be. However, like all of the major and minor releases before it, iOS/iPadOS 13.3.1 is yet another step toward reaching that stable nirvana. It also means that all compatible device owners have another release to download and more improvements to sink their teeth into.

Familiarity with iOS and iPadOS update intervals, both suggest that iOS 13.3.1 and iPadOS 13.3.1 are all about stability and improvements rather than Apple’s overwhelming desire to flood iPhones and iPads with new features and functionality. You may encounter the odd change here and there but largely you can expect bug fixes and stability.

If you are interested in grabbing this download, get your compatible device and head over to Settings > General > Software Update and grab the OTA Update from there. If you prefer a more old-fashioned and time-consuming approach, then you can also use iTunes on Windows or Mac, or Finder on macOS Catalina, to restore or update your device using IPSW files.
