This Astonishing And Life Like Finger Painting Of Morgan Freeman Was Created Using iPad Air [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·December 3, 2013
The iPad continues to hold the number one spot in the tablet market almost four years after its inception, and although the market is now awash with devices offering 'proper' processors and ultrabook-esque form factors, it would seem that nothing can stop the Apple iPad. Many, especially Microsoft, have suggested that the limited nature of the ecosystem is to the detriment of the user, besetting iPad owners with restrictions to which they cannot get the most out of their slate. But whatever this may be, it doesn't appear to be affecting the work or skills of Kyle Lambert, who has created a true masterpiece of a finger painting using nothing more than his iPad Air.

You may remember Richard Ryan from RatedRR as the enthusiastic individual who decided to see how a brand new PlayStation 4 fares against a .50 caliber rifle. As you might have guessed, it turns out that Sony didn't build the PS4 to withstand relatively close range, high-powered rifle shots. With the Xbox One now widely available, it seems only fair for Ryan to put Microsoft's console through the same test, albeit with the addition of 16-foot detonation cord and a new "drag-race" setup.

This Project Aims To Give Broken iPhones A New Life By Transforming Them Into Everyday Objects [VIDEO]

Oliver Haslam·November 26, 2013
If you've be the owner of an iPhone for any length of time, the chances are you've had that heart-stopping moment when said iPhone has slipped from your grasp, or been knocked off a table. Cue that anguished look on your face as you gaze helplessly at your expensive smartphone as it tumbles towards, invariably, the world's hardest flooring. Why is it never nice thick carpet, anyway?

New iPhone 6 Concept Features A Wraparound Display [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·November 24, 2013
The iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c may only have been available for two months, but that's not going to stop us looking ahead to what Apple might have up its sleeve for next year. We've already been treated to a bunch of iPhone 6 concepts to accompany the early rumors pertaining the next Cupertino smartphone, and a series of renders recently offered by designer Iskander Utebayev feature an interesting three-sided display. Check it out after the break!

New Galaxy S5 Concept Features A Beautiful Design With Insanely Powerful Hardware [VIDEO]

Paul Morris·November 22, 2013
Samsung's extremely popular Galaxy S4 smartphone has been slightly relegated to the back of our minds in recent times. There's no denying that the South Korean company produced yet another premium piece of kit when the S4 was launched, however, subsequent iPhone 5s and Nexus 5 releases have not only overshadowed Samsung's flagship device but also made it look somewhat dated. With rumors already starting to circulate regarding next year's Galaxy S5 release, it was only a matter of time until something like this gorgeous next-generation Galaxy concept materialized.

Trent Reznor From Nine Inch Nails Uses FaceTime To Call Terminally Ill Friend From Stage [VIDEO]

Paul Morris·November 21, 2013
Taking part in an impromptu FaceTime call is becoming an increasingly popular event during musical events. First we had Beyoncé taking an iPhone out of a fan’s hand and talking to her friend through FaceTime during one of her performances. Now we have the news that Nine Inch Nails’ frontman Trent Reznor invoked a FaceTime call with one of his friends during a show in Las Vegas. Although FaceTime itself is an extremely emotive way to communicate, the feeling was further heightened by the fact that the friend in question is currently suffering from terminal colon cancer.

New Messages App For OS X Concept Shows Off A Brilliantly Done Design With Added Functionality [Image]

Paul Morris·November 14, 2013
Apple's decision to revamp and revitalize the rather disheveled iChat app was undoubtedly a decision that was needed to be made, but the execution of that decision has left more than a lot to be desired. OS X users have been more than happy to let Apple know that the Messages app on their platform isn't up to scratch, but while we wait for the Cupertino overlords to do something about it let's take a look at a new Messages concept that totally overhauls the app with the aim of actually appealing to those who use the service.

New iPhone Air Concept Features 4.6-inch Retina Display, Color Customization And New Camera Module [VIDEO]

Paul Morris·November 10, 2013
Apple's latest edition to the iPad range - the iPad Air - seems to be going down with a storm with those who already have their hands on the 9.7-inch tablet. The latest and so-called greatest iPad yet is thinner, lighter and blazing fast thanks to the new A7 processor and 64-bit architecture, but more important than all of that, it seems to be getting rave reviews from those using it. With the new iPad being such an early success, it was only a matter of time until we started to see new concepts flying around the net, with one of the first bringing the same Air treatment to Apple's iPhone hardware.

You Can Now Buy A Gold iPad Air, But Not Directly From Apple [Images]

Ben Reid·November 9, 2013
While the new iPad has borrowed many of its traits from the the iPhone 5s, the much talked-about Gold and White color configuration remains a treat reserved - at least for the time being - for the Cupertino's flagship smartphone. Many have even surprised themselves with how taken they are with the new Gold iPhone 5s, but as we continue to hope that Apple will oblige with a gold iPad at some point in the near future, you can already have yourself one from Goldgenie. It will, however, cost an arm and a leg, with prices starting at $1,871 for a 16GB iPad Air. Still undeterred? Read on for more information.

This Toyota 4Runner Is Controlled By iPads [VIDEO]

Paul Morris·November 9, 2013
A significantly increasing number of us are beginning to use, trust and interact with mobile technology in a way we never imagined would be possible at the turn of the century. As that technology becomes more ingrained in our everyday existence, it seems that the knock-on effect is a willingness for different industries to stand up and invest precious resources into seeing how they can take advantage of the latest tech. One of the latest examples of that investment has recently been shown by Toyota who has sponsored an innovation competition that promotes the use of technology alongside the art of customizing motor vehicles.
