The Apple iPhone regularly scores high when it comes to customer satisfaction, quality of camera, and in fact, most other smartphone-centric research. These traits of popularity perhaps go some way to explaining why the fruit company's flagship 5s was the most popular worldwide in the first quarter of this year, and moreover, why the antiquated iPhone 4s managed to grab fifth spot.
As it often does on a Monday, Apple threw out the third beta of its upcoming iOS 8 software a short while back, and although the changelog mentioned the usual bug fixes and general performance enhancements, the Cupertino giant has also delivered a little treat for those rocking an iPhone on T-Mobile U.S. As of iOS 8 beta 3, those subbed to the popular carrier can enjoy Wi-Fi calls, and apparently, the clarity of said calls is far greater than on a standard 3G / 4G cellular connection.
Apple's iPhone 6 is still quite a way from hitting the market, but the amount of evidence that has mounted up over the past few months is quite unprecedented for any unannounced tech product. The reason for the increased interest in the Cupertino company's next handset is primarily due to its increase in size, with Tim Cook's team expected to churn out two larger models in 2014. Today, an alleged leak of the 4.7-inch model's front panel has been spotted in a video alongside that of the iPhone 5s, and naturally, we thought it best to share this new revelation with you guys.

Turns out that making smartphones is hard, and although the folks at Foxconn are actually rather good at doing just that, there's always room for extra improvement. Whether that improvement comes in any form, Foxconn is apparently set to augment its existing workforce with 10,000 new additions.
Apple has passed on the message to developers that it will be removing all CloudKit data from its servers as of Monday, July 7th. This is not out of the ordinary, and in fact, regularly occurs around the time that iOS and OS X betas arrive, and anybody running iOS 8 beta or OS X Yosemite Developer Preview with data stored in the iCloud Photo Library, Mail Drop or iCloud Drive will need to retrieve it over the next couple of days.
We cannot, it seems, help but get carried away by voice assistants, and even though Microsoft joined the party extremely late with the introduction of Cortana earlier this year, the amount of hype it has generated for the software giant will certainly do Windows Phone's cause no harm whatsoever. Having already been compared a dozen times to Google Now and Apple's Siri, Cortana has had the benefit of watching and learning from both, but while the Halo-based voice assistant has clearly borrowed from its two longer-serving rivals in many departments, Siri is now looking to Cortana for inspiration.
Although the headlines have largely been dominated by the iPhone 6, we're also expecting Apple to roll out a refresh for both the iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina display at some point during the fall. Hitherto, we've seen quite a few mockups offering a glimpse into some of the new features, including an improved Touch ID fingerprint sensor for each, and now, thanks to some high-res images, we can take an even closer look at how the iPad Air 2 stands up against its would-be predecessor.
The iPhone 6 is coming, and boy do we know about it. We are currently sitting right at the peak of the speculation and concept stage of the annual release cycle, meaning that each day we can look forward to a new influx of best and educated guesses pertaining to potential device specifications as well as new concept art. There will undoubtedly be an exception to that at some point but today is not that day. Following hot on the heels of yesterday's beautiful iPhone 6 renders from Mark Pelin, we are now seeing a new - albeit very similar - set shown off in multiple colors.
