As was predicted, CEO of McGraw-Hill has confirmed in an interview to CNBC today that Apple is going to announce their Tablet on 27th and it will run on iPhone OS. Terry McGraw, who is the CEO of the famous publishing company further went on to confirm that they “have worked with Apple for quite a while” and that it will be based on the “iPhone operating system”.
The father of iPhone Jailbreak who first unlocked the original iPhone back in 2007, followed by unlocking iPhone 3GS last year and the person who was responsible for blackra1n and blacksn0w tools has finally released the exploit for hacking PS3. In a blog post today, he explained that the PS3 exploit which he has released “gives full memory access and therefore ring 0 access from OtherOS”.
Everyone is anxious waiting to know all about the eagerly awaited Apple Tablet device aka iSlate/iPad/iTablet. It is highly expected to be announced at the Apple media event on 27th January 2009 in San Francisco. Previously, a number of ‘supposedly’ leaked photos and videos of iSlate caught our attention. The developers behind the popular iPhone game Touchgrind has published a video, which shows off a Mac version of the game, run and controlled by utilizing the multitouch capabilities of MacBook Pro’s mouse trackpad. This version of Touchgrind for OS X is only a technical demo and requires the newer MacBook’s with multitouch capable mouse trackpads.
The thinnest notebook in Apple’s MacBook line is Air which hasn't seen an upgrade since last June. This however may change soon but not before the similar upgrades for MacBook and MacBook Pro. A French site named HardMac speculates that due to non-availability of the new low-draw Intel Core i5 chips, MacBook Air with Core i5 may not ship at the same time as MacBook Pros.
Next Wednesday, Apple in its mega event will raise curtains and release its highly anticipated device dubbed as iTablet/iPad or iSlate. According to the sources at Apple Insider, the device will sport that familiar look and feel of the original iPhone which was released back in 2007. It will also have lot many similarities staring from the industrial design down to the handset button and other connectivity components.
According to the latest round of rumors from TheStreet, Apple will be selling its upcoming iTablet/iSlate/iPad device on a subsidized plan through Verizon Wireless in US. This news comes after confirmed reports which states that Apple has chosen Qualcomm’s wireless chips in its Tablet – which ultimately means that the said device is headed to Verizon instead of their iPhone partner AT&T.
It is now confirmed. Apple has just sent out loads of invites via email for the long rumored special event, which is now scheduled to be held at 10 AM PST on January 27th, at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco.
Wow! I didn't saw this coming from Apple!. According to the latest reports from Chinese Commercial Times, Apple is planning to launch 22-inches capacitive touchscreen iMac’s sometime this year. We all know that HP already has all-in-one TouchSmart PCs for a while now, with multitouch capable capacitive screens, and an OS like Windows 7 which fully supports those gestures.
