Oliver Haslam·October 20, 2013
We are now just a couple of days away form Apple's media event - an event that we all expect the company to announce at least two new iPads at. With that in mind though, it's also an event that we suspect will see one or two other products shown off, even if they aren't all quite ready to ship.

Pod2g Shows That Apple Can Indeed Read Your iMessages, And They’re Not Alone [VIDEO]

Oliver Haslam·October 19, 2013
Talk of Apple being able to read iMessage contents is nothing that new, but it's been at the fore today after the iPhone and iPad maker was forced to reiterate that it cannot see the content of messages, even if it wanted to. That may have put people's minds at rest, and while it should be reassuring, Apple's claim has already had a bog old dollop of doubt thrown at it by jailbreak supremo Pod2g.

New iOS 7 GarageBand And iPhoto App Icons Hint At Upcoming Design Overhaul

Paul Morris·October 17, 2013
It's amazing what you can find when you go digging through various sections of Apple's iOS operating system. Those who have the knowledge and patience to delve into the inner workings of the software can often encounter some extremely interesting things that Apple may or may not want the average user to immediately know about. Before iOS 7 and the iPhone 5s was officially announced it was revealed that the OS contained references to biometric frameworks; a discovery that pretty much confirmed the existence of Touch ID. Now it seems like it's the turn of a couple of Apple's own iOS app offerings to come under the spotlight after new icons were discovered for the iOS versions of GarageBand and iPhoto.

The iPhone launch is, for the most part, now over, and attentions have naturally turned to Apple's secondary product releases of the calendar year. The Mac Pro, which has already been officially announced, could be just a month away from release according to a report over at French Apple blog MacGeneration, which also states that both the Intel Haswell-packing MacBook Pro and new iPads will make their way to the market by the end of October.

Apple’s October 22nd Special iPad Media Event Is Now Official

Paul Morris·October 15, 2013
It seems like it was just five minutes ago when excitement levels were being raised in preparation for the iPhone 5s/5c event at Apple's Cupertino campus. With that event now under wraps and firmly in the past, the company has moved onto the next chapter by sending out media invites for the October 22nd event that we believe will see the introduction of the next-generation range of iPads.

Apple iPhone 5s [Video Review]

Tom Richardson·October 15, 2013
As we did with the iPhone 5c review a couple of weeks ago, we've put the all new Apple iPhone 5s continuously through its paces and now is the time to provide you with my opinion on Apple's shiniest handset. As I mentioned in my iPhone 5c review, we've already done a large amount of coverage on the iPhone 5s. This post will serve to update you if you've missed any of that content.

China Mobile Gets Green Light To Carry iPhone 5s And 5c

Ben Reid·October 15, 2013
Apple has, for a long time, intended to make a more substantial effort to capture the Chinese market, and with both the new iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s hitting China from the get-go, said this effort is most certainly in motion. To add to this, it would appear that the iPhone 5c and 5s have now passed the mandatory certification to carry radios compliant with China Mobile. Not only is it the largest carrier in China by a considerable distance, but it's actually the biggest network the world over, and the grand launch should be hitting its 750 million users at some point in the near future. More details can be found right here after the leap.
