Brydge Announces Pro+ iPad Keyboard With Built-In Trackpad And iPadOS Trackpad Accessories

Accessory maker Brydge has two new iPad-related bits of kit that are going to be of great interest to those who spend most of their time living on iPads.

The first is a new Brydge Pro+ keyboard with built-in trackpad for the iPad Pro, while the second is a trackpad designed for use with iPadOS.

The keyboard is similar to others offered by Brydge in that it gives an iPad Pro a keyboard and makes it look and work like a MacBook. But this one takes things a step further by adding a multi-touch trackpad below the keyboard. Users of iPadOS will be able to make use of that alongside the accessibility feature that adds pointer input to the iPad.

There’s an adjustable backlight as part of the keyboard for use in low light and you can get around three months of use on a single charge.

If you don’t want a keyboard, there is an additional option in the form of the iPadOS Trackpad. It’s exactly what it sounds like and is designed for use by anyone who wants to be able to enjoy pointer input without also having to use a Brydge keyboard as well. It’s also an option for those who already have a keyboard.

Both of these are available for buyers to register their interest here, although no pricing has been made available as yet.
