Some folks over at a Czech Republic site have closely examined the screen of one of the leaked prototype models of the next-iPhone under microscope and they have found it to be much denser than the current-gen iPhone 3GS model. This close examination of the screen has also confirmed the IPS panel screen (like iPad) for the next iPhone, with a high-resolution of 960x640 pixels.

The iPhone hacker behind sn0wbreeze, f0recast and BlackBreeze today accidently put up a picture on his twitter account, showing version 1.6 of sn0wbreeze which promises to jailbreak iPod touch 2G on iPhone OS 4. The picture in question was removed quickly but the folks at The Technopath were quick enough to grab the image for everyone to see.
Its finally here ! The newly released Skype 2.0 for iPhone enables the much awaited VoIP calls over 3G network. This feature though will only be free to use until August 2010, after which a small fee (via in-app purchase perhaps?) will apply. Carrier charges of course will cost extra. There is a new modified version of PwnageTool floating around in the wild which promises to jailbreak iPhone 3GS on iPhone OS 4 Beta without upgrading the baseband. The creators of the original PwnageTool has confirmed that this version has been modified and redistributed without their permission, and most importantly, it doesn't patches some important files which are required for the ultrasn0w unlock to work properly.
According to the sources at TechCrunch, the next version of iPhone OS, which is set to release this June will have Bing as its default search engine in Mobile Safari. Engadget has got this latest scoop in which a source close to them has confirmed that the next iPhone is confirmed to have video calling/chat and that this feature will be the highlight of the first of ads that will go on air after June 7. This series of ads will be directed by Sam Mendes who was the director behind American Beauty and Jarhead. He will also be directing the next James Bond movie.
