HTC EVO 4G will be available on Sprint’s 4G network starting 4th of June, for $199 (after all the discounts) on a new contract. To enjoy WiMAX on this device, you will be paying $10 extra a month for the “Premium Data add-on” on top your chosen plan. Moreover, the 8-device hotspot feature will cost $29.99 extra every month. Since the device has a front cam for video conferencing, you’ll be able to do video chats over both 3G and 4G speeds using Qik app.

In what looks like a backlash than anything else, HTC has responded to Apple’s patent lawsuit by filing a complaint with ITC (International Trade Commission), asking for sales ban on iPhone, iPad and iPod in US due to alleged infringement of five patents. This story in now turning similar to Nokia and Apple one in which both the parties have filed federal lawsuits against each other.
A Vietnamese site named Taoviet has got hold of what looks like another “lost” next-gen iPhone prototype model from Apple. This model looks almost exactly like the one which Gizmodo got hold of earlier last month, except for the screws at the bottom which seems to have been removed. Both iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS had similar screws with the speaker at the bottom. Also, this model has 16GB written on the backside compared to the one which Gizmodo got which had XXGB written on the back. Are we looking at the very final pre-production model of the new iPhone? probably yes!
AT&T in US has started rolling out upgrade eligibility dates for existing customers for the Next iPhone which is scheduled to be announced on June 7 at WWDC 2010. Some early adopters have noticed their upgrade eligibility date to have switched from 11/21 to 6/21. As MobileCrunch reported.
A group of hackers are working on bringing iPhone OS 4 over to the original iPhone EDGE (aka iPhone 2G) which was released back in 2007. Due to low memory and slower processing power, Apple decided to cut further upgrade support path for iPhone 2G in OS 4. Apple today has announced the much awaited international release date, and price plans for both the WiFi and 3G version of iPad. Customers in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and UK can get their iPads officially on Friday, May 28. International Pre-orders for iPad in the above mentioned countries will begin from May 10th.
