ePic for Mac OS X Allows Fast And Efficient Creation Of Slideshows

Paul Morris·August 22, 2012
Although the iOS App Store is overflowing with apps for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, the Mac equivalent doesn't have nearly as many apps living within it, meaning OS X users have significantly less choice when it comes to extending the functionality of their machines. With that said, I tend to find that my personal taste of OS X apps come in two forms, either extremely simple creations or apps that actually go all out and provide fantastic functionality that makes my life a lot easier. An example of the former is Live Wallpaper that offers dynamic backgrounds and an example of the latter is Xcode or Pixelmator that offer grunt and power.

Nikon Coolpix S800c Android-Powered Camera Arrives For $350

Paul Morris·August 22, 2012
After quite a bit of speculation over the last couple of weeks, Japanese-based camera giants Nikon Corporation haven finally officially lifted the lid on their new range of Coolpix-S compact digital cameras, one of which stays true to the rumor mill and features a fully functional version of the Android mobile operating system. Nikon is billing the release as proposing new possibilities for digital cameras and with the inclusion of Android and additional features, we would be inclined to agree.

Instacube Is A Living Canvas For Your Instagram Photographs

Paul Morris·August 22, 2012
I will be open and confess my love for not only Instagram but anything that makes an attempt to use the Instagram API and make a rather awesome product on the back of it. I got on board with Instagram from the beginning and have been sharing photographs with my followers ever since directly from iOS on my iPhone and Android from the Nexus 7. Such is my love for Instagram that I also tend to sign-up for anything related to it, such as Webagram and Instacanvas, so when the Instacube Kickstarter project presented itself, I had to become a part of it.

TweetLine For Android Is One Of The Most Feature Rich Twitter Clients We’ve Ever Come Across

Paul Morris·August 22, 2012
You picked up your Android powered device to read a text message or send a quick email, and while you were doing it, you decided to read a chapter or two of the the latest eBook you downloaded before eventually sitting back and thinking that your device is missing something. It has games, music apps, apps that allow you to keep up to date with the latest news, but it needs another Twitter app to let you check your messages and see what the world is tweeting about. But not just any Twitter app, it needs a fully featured Twitter app with the Android 4.0 ICS look and feel.

Apple Requesting Official Hardware Resellers To Put Aside Additional Display Space For iPad Before September 12

Paul Morris·August 22, 2012
Although we are yet to hear of any official confirmation from Apple about the rumored September 12th press event, everything which we are hearing from various sources seems to suggest that we might be in for a little more than we had initially bargained for when the day eventually comes around. Previous speculation had suggested that the media event is definitely going to be taking place on the aforementioned date, but would more than likely be to introduce the world to the next-generation iPhone and possibly announce the immediate availability of iOS 6 for supported older-generation devices.

Everything Everywhere To Roll Out 4G LTE Services On September 11 In UK, For New iPhone?

Paul Morris·August 22, 2012
The talk about 4G LTE data services has been rife recently with a number of manufacturers pushing out new devices with LTE compatibility, effectively allowing consumers to significantly increase their mobile data speeds to somewhere around the 20Mbps region. That is obviously fantastic for consumers who live in regions and territories that have the infrastructure to offer that service, but is a bit of a kick in the teeth for those who don't. The LTE based news that is coming out of the United Kingdom today will represent good news for some, but will be a bitter pill to swallow for others, including most of the major UK based mobile networks.

German Network Provider Announces The New iPhone Before Launch

Paul Morris·August 22, 2012
If there is one thing which iPhone fans out there don't really need is additional confirmation that the new iPhone will be introduced to us next month. Unless it comes from the horse’s mouth of course. Over the last few months, we have been treated to countless leaks of components and parts that form the sixth-generation device and also heard enough speculation about the September 12th announcement date to pretty much convince us all that it's going to happen on that day. All we really need is the official invites from Apple.

Details And Specs Of Next Google Nexus Smartphone Emerge

Paul Morris·August 21, 2012
The Galaxy Nexus, released by Samsung in conjunction with Google in November of last year, had a legion of fans who loved the curved glass design that featured a gorgeous Super AMOLED display. If you happen to be one of those fans and have been waiting patiently for the next iteration then it looks like you are about to be in for a treat. Information has emerged about a product that has been given the code name "Superior", the model number GT-i9260 and could be the successor to the popular Galaxy Nexus.

Paul Morris·August 21, 2012
If you are dicing with the idea of going out and purchasing the fabulous new Windows 8 operating system from Microsoft, then it could be worthwhile getting on board with it earlier rather than later. Microsoft is planning on offering the Windows 8 Pro version at an initial promotional price point of $69.99 for early adopters, with the price finally increasing to $199 when that promotion comes to an end on January 31st 2013.

The Disney Channel’s Advice To Youngsters? Never Use Open-Source Software [VIDEO]

Paul Morris·August 21, 2012
I have to be honest from the start here and state that The Disney Channel is not one of my preferred channels of choice, and while I might have accidentally flicked onto it while channel surfing, I have never actually spent any significant amount of time seeing what it has to offer. I'm pretty sure that it will offer some entertaining and possibly educational content to youngsters who are kept mesmerized by bright colors and loud noises, but it seems that the Shake It Up sitcom that is available around the world on the channel has a rather concerning message to our children who are essentially the developers of tomorrow.
