You can now download iOS 26.4.1 IPSW links and OTA update for iPhone alongside iPadOS 26.4.1 for iPad. Here are the details on today’s release.

Apple has just released for download iOS 26.4.1 just couple of weeks after releasing final version of iOS 26.4 to public.

This release though is nothing more than a bug fix release that aims to fix a major bug related to iCloud data syncing. Apparently, iPhones and iPads running v26.4 firmware would stop receiving iCloud change notifications, which resulted in cloud data sync issue for apps that use Apple’s CloudKit framework.

This issue impacted both Apple’s own apps like Passwords app and even third-party apps that utilized the CloudKit framework. This has been rectified in the just released v26.4.1 release.

To download iOS 26.4.1 or iPadOS 26.4.1, head over to Settings > General > Software Update section of the device and grab the update from there. Alternatively, you can download IPSW file of iOS 26.4.1/iPadOS 26.4.1 from links given below and then use Finder on Mac, or iTunes on Windows to update your iPhone or iPad.
