Oliver Haslam has written about technology for over a decade. His work has been published in print at Macworld and online pretty much everywhere else. If it plugs in or has a battery, it's fair game.
SpyPhoto is a Cydia tweak which allows taking of photographs using an iDevice's front or rear facing camera, without the need to open the Camera app. Added benefits include the fact that no sound is made either, meaning it's great for when you're on a top secret espionage mission, or trying to get photos of a prototype iPhone without Tim Cook's cronies knowing.
Samsung's recently released AllShare DLNA app offers Windows Phone owners of the Sammy persuasion the ability to share all kinds of media over a WiFi network to any DLNA-compatible TV or set-top box. The problem though, is that when attempting to run the app on certain Samsung devices, users were met with an error, and as a result were unable to take advantage of what AllShare has to offer. In what can only be described as another nail in the iPod Classic's coffin, Apple has now removed all click-wheel games from the iTunes store.
Turns out people are pretty excited about the whole iPhone 5 thing, and the folks over at AT&T are no different. The carrier, Apple's first ever iPhone partner, may now have been relegated to also-rans, but that doesn't appear to have dampened their enthusiasm for the cash cow that is the iPhone.
We may only have five days to wait until we get to see the real thing, but here's the next best thing - a mock-up of the iPhone 5, made using data and rumors from across the internet.
