Apple TV+ Signs An F1 Documentary All About Sir Lewis Hamilton

Apple TV+ has signed a new documentary based on seven-times and, the former Formula One world champion Sir Lewis Hamilton.

The documentary doesn’t yet have a name but will be directed by Matt Kay. Hamilton himself will be the one producing the documentary.

The new documentary, announced by Apple TV+ via a press release, will see watchers learn about Hamilton, his life, and his goals as the only Black driver on the grid.

Hamilton has blazed an uncharted trail professionally, socially and culturally, and transformed the sport on a global scale. Coming from a working-class family, Lewis succeeded in a sport where the odds were stacked against him but where his talent shone through, allowing him to dominate the sport for over a decade. Hamilton is currently the only Black driver to race in the Formula One series. He embraced what made him different and his rise to the top of his career has made him fiercely committed to using his platform to influence positive change for future generations.

We’re still some way from Apple TV+ subscribers being able to watch the new documentary, but it’s sure to be a must-watch whether you’re an F1 fan, or not. Priced at $4.99 per month, Apple TV+ is a great value at a time when Netflix and Disney+ continue to get more and more costly. The Apple TV+ service is also part of the Apple One subscription bundle, too.
