Smart homes continue to expand into areas that we never expected, and the Air Wick smart diffuser is a prime example of that.
The Essential Mist Smart Diffuser uses essential oils and lets you control the whole thing via Bluetooth. Apps are available for both iPhones and Android, too.
Whereas other diffusers normally have water inside that needs to be refilled when it runs out, Air Wick says that its new diffuser is different. Instead, it uses refills that can be replaced when required. Because of course they can – that’s an added consumable Air Wick can charge for.
The Air Wick® Essential Mist® Smart Diffuser transforms essential oils into a light, fragrant mist. The diffuser is an easy-to-use, cordless device designed for pre-mixed refills – eliminating the use of water allowing for a mess-free affair. Air Wick® Essential Mist’s lightweight and portable diffuser is now enhanced with Bluetooth® capabilities.
The free app lets users either turn the diffuser on and off or set schedules to allow it to handle the job itself. It’s perhaps not the smartest thing that you’ll add to your home, but it’s certainly more impressive than the usual fare.
If you want to get in on the Air Wick Essential Mist Smart Diffuser action, you’ll have to pay $20 for one. Really, that’s cheaper than we were expecting and at around $4 for a refill, they’re more modestly priced than we thought they might be, too.
