2020 iPhone SE Speed Test Vs iPhone 11 / XR / 8 And More [Video]

Now that Apple’s iPhone SE is out in the wild we’re learning more and more about its capabilities. The inclusion of the Apple-designed A13 Bionic chip has expectations high already, but how does the iPhone SE compare with other iPhones?

That’s something iAppleBytes wanted to find out, so they took an iPhone SE and ran it through benchmarks to see how it fares against a number of other devices. All of them ran iOS 13.x.

With the iPhone SE 2020 out, it is time to see what the performance is against other current models that support iOS 13. I start out by comparing the SE 2020 to the original iPhone SE, and that iPhone 8 that went end of life with the release of the new iPhone SE. In the video I will be doing the normal side by side stuff that I do, but also add in this video a rendering of an iPhone 4K / 60 FPS video that was shot on the new iPhone SE.

So how do things pan out? We’ll leave that to you. Multiple videos put the iPhone SE up against the 6S, the iPhone 7, the iPhone 8, the iPhone XR, and the iPhone 11.

Oh, and as a bonus there’s the original iPhone SE thrown in for good measure. Because it’s always interesting to see how the older namesake can compare.

Regardless of these tests it’s a no-brainer that the $399 iPhone SE is a pretty phenomenal buy right now. It will also be supported by iOS updates well into the future, too. That isn’t something that can be said about Android phones costing twice this amount.
