2019 iPhone 11 Pro Cases Leak Showing Rumored Apple Pencil Support

The 2019 iPhone lineup will be announced in a few short weeks and rumors as to what that will entail are still circulating. Now case maker Olixar has tongues wagging once more, with the company preparing for an iPhone that includes Apple Pencil support.

According to the images of Olixar cases, it has a case in the works that looks like most iPhone cases from the front but things are different around the back. There’s room for the new, square camera module as well as a space for an Apple Pencil.

Rumors of Apple Pencil support have popped up here and there for weeks, especially in response to the recent announcement of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10. However, unlike Samsung’s phone, the iPhone isn’t likely to have a silo for keeping a new, smaller Apple Pencil inside. That’s where the case comes in.

Of course, a new Apple Pencil will be needed here. The current Apple Pencil is too large for an iPhone and a new, lighter and more petite model is said to be ready for iPhone use.

As always we’d suggest treating these images with plenty of skepticism. We’d love to see an iPhone with Apple Pencil support but we wouldn’t want to put too much faith in these images just yet.

We’ll know for sure what Apple has in mind when it announces the new iPhones, likely on September 10th. We can’t wait to see what comes out of that event.
