It certainly feels like the jailbreak community has been going through a period of “fits and starts” recently. It seems that there are periods of activity where there are lots of things mentioned and lots of things to look forward to, followed by periods of extreme inactivity.

The truth, as always, lies somewhere in the middle of those two situations with both Apple and the jailbreakers racking up wins and losses.

Well, this time around, it seems to be Apple that has taken a big loss. For reasons only known to the business, the release of iOS 12.4 including somewhat of regression from a security perspective and resulting in a vulnerability being re-exposed, which, in turn, has resulted in the iOS 12.4 unc0ver and chimera jailbreaks being released.

But, with that jailbreak arrives the burning question of just which tweaks and packages are actually compatible and can be installed to a jailbroken iOS 12.4 devices without causing a huge issue. Well, this list is a growing repository of that information.

Whenever a new major jailbreak is released we usually see a growing Google Sheet of this nature. It’s a community-driven effort to outline an array of tweaks and packages which can be found via Cydia or Sileo and an attempt to ascertain and report on whether or not they are working on iOS 12.4. The sheet shows the tweak name, the version tested, the functional status of it against iOS 12.4, and any additional notes which are deemed worthy of inclusion by the reporter.

So, if you are planning on jailbreaking on iOS 12.4, or have already been through that process, then this sheet should definitely be your first port of call to see exactly what is and what isn’t working. It could be the difference between you having a good experience and actually bricking your device or getting it stuck in a never-ending boot loop!
