WhatsApp Is Testing New Messaging Bubbles On iPhone

WhatsApp is currently testing a change to the way its chat bubbles appear on iPhones, with the new look being altogether more modern than what we’re all used to.

Shared by the folks at WABetaInfo, the change includes a slightly different shade of green as well as more rounded corners to create a sleeker look. It isn’t a massive change, but it’s one that’s notable and can definitely be seen in these screenshots.

This screenshot shows a comparison between old and new chat bubbles and colors, for both light and dark mode. You can also notice that the new chat bubbles are larger than the old ones, and now they look more modern.

While these new bubbles are available to those running the latest iOS beta version of WhatsApp, we still don’t know when we can expect the change to be brought to the world at large.

TestFlight betas are closed for WhatsApp as well, so we will just have to wait for WhatsApp to flick the switch and bring the new bubbles to the App Store if we want to try them out ourselves.

Owner Facebook, continues to tweak WhatsApp, taking what is already a popular messaging app and making into a better one with each new change.
