Twelve South StayGo USB-C Hub Features HDMI, MicroSD, Gigabit Ethernet, More Ports; Is Probably The Only Hub Your Mac Needs

Popular accessory maker Twelve South has announced its latest product. Called the StayGo, the new portable USB-C hub takes the dongles people often use with their Mac notebooks and adds them to a single hub.

Apple notoriously refuses to include many ports on its latest Mac notebooks, often leaving them with just a pair of USB-C holes with which to fill cables. That then means that dongles are very much the order of the day, unless you have Twelve South’s new StayGo hub.

By plugging the StayGo into a USB-C port, you’ll get a passthrough USB-C port, three USB-A ports, HDMI, microSD and SD card slots, and gigabit Ethernet. That should cover most of the dongles people normally have to carry around in order to make those USB-C ports functional.

The hub itself is around the size of a standard iPhone, which makes it suitable for throwing into a bag and using when needed. It also comes with its own 1m cable, with a shorter cable also available for those times where something less lengthy is required.

If you’re a Mac notebook owner, then this is definitely something that could make a difference to your life. If that sounds good to you, then you can pick one up now in exchange for your $100. That might sound costly, but if you compare it with the cost of a few Apple dongles, it really isn’t that bad at all.
