Tesla’s Full Self-Driving Subscription Will Apparently Land Within 4 Months

Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk says that the company will launch its subscription service for its Full Self-Driving package within the next three or four months after what feels like more delays than, well, something that’s delayed a lot! But it isn’t going to be cheap.

Anyone buying the FSD package when picking up a new car has to pay an additional $10,000 so it’s likely that we won’t be seeing small numbers when the subscription fee announced.

However, the smart money appears to be on the monthly fee being somewhere around the $100 mark. Musk has already said that buying the $10,000 pack is still the best way to go.

Buying the FSD package will actually get you a few different things under one umbrella, including the impressive Summon feature.

  • Navigate on Autopilot
  • Auto Lane Change
  • Autopark
  • Summon
  • Full Self-Driving Computer
  • Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control

It’s also important to remember that the cash price for the FSD only recently increased to $10,000 and it’s expected to continue to increase as we get closer to the feature being available. It’s possible we will see a similar method of pricing when the monthly fee arrives within a few months as well.
