This Tweak Lets You Search Through Millions Of Instagram Photos Directly From Your iOS Home Screen

Paul Morris·June 9, 2012
There can be no denying the fact that the Instagram app has been insanely successful since its launch onto the iOS platform. What started out as a simple service allowing users to take a photograph, apply some filters and upload it to the Instagram network ultimately ended up with the social networks’ biggest player, Facebook, stepping in and slapping $1 billion in cash and stocks on the table to buy it.

FoxTube For iPhone Caches YouTube Videos In Advance, Features Background Playing And More

Ben Reid·June 8, 2012
Our iOS devices offer a variety of services, and when it comes to watching viral videos, few do it better than Google-owned YouTube. Sure, the iOS stock YouTube app is woeful and dated, but thankfully, there are plenty of alternatives out there offering a fuller, altogether more feature-rich YouTubing experience.

Based Solely On Recently Leaked Parts, Here’s What The ‘iPhone 5’ Will Look Like [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·June 8, 2012
While the tech world was largely unaware of what eventually became the iPhone 4S, we have pretty solid evidence of the upcoming Apple smartphone, which has been unofficially labeled the iPhone 5.

Post Facebook And Twitter Updates Using Voice Dictation In Your Local Language Right From iOS 5 Notification Center

Paul Morris·June 8, 2012
Whenever anyone talks about social networking, it is generally the social behemoth Facebook that crops up first in conversation, but with Twitter adding more and more users on a daily basis, the mini micro-blogging service is starting to make some serious waves in the social world. What could be better than mixing the power of a jailbroken iOS device with quick and simple access to two of the world’s largest social forums? And for good measure, throw in voice input support to update your status on said social networks, then we definitely have a winner here.

How To Add A “Do Not Disturb” Toggle To Enable Or Disable All iOS Notifications On The Fly

Paul Morris·June 8, 2012
Considering the amount of excellent and quality apps that are available on the App Store, it goes without saying that iOS device users will more than likely have a decent amount of apps installed upon their device to allow them to complete a wide range of tasks. With all of those apps in one place, all having different abilities and functions, it also stands to reason that notifications are going to be used to allow users to keep track of what is going on, and so that nothing important is missed or overlooked.

After more than two years of work on bringing new features and reaching out to other mobile platforms, Foursquare completely redesigned their apps for iOS and Android. The updated app, numbered 5.0, offers a much better user-experience and a new recommendation system. We’ve discussed both right after the jump!

Emoji2 For iOS 5.1.x Enables Apple’s Hidden Emoji Characters On iPhone, iPad, iPod touch

Paul Morris·June 6, 2012
I have never been personally fascinated with any kind of extensive use of the Japanese Emoji art, but that might be because I don't feel the need to express myself in text and email messages through the use of different emoticons. Thankfully, I don't represent the majority of the user-base and the cute little Emoji icons always seem to be extremely popular.

This Dashboard X Widget Brings Google Search Right On Your Home Screen

Paul Morris·June 5, 2012
GoogleDaSH is one of the latest tweaks that is entirely dedicated to working in conjunction with the extremely popular Dashboard X tweak by cjori. As you may know by now, Dashboard X was released some weeks back as a package that allows jailbroken users to place widgets directly onto the home screen for even quicker access than ever before. At the time of launch, Notification Center based widgets were compatible but in the following weeks we have seen a number of dedicated tweaks starting to surface.

Jailbreak iOS 5.1.1 Untethered Using Redsn0w 0.9.12b1

Ben Reid·June 4, 2012
The Redsn0w jailbreak tool is what the jailbreak community considers to be the "Old Faithful". Sure, plenty of other groups get in on the act with their various jailbreak utilities, but it seems as though no matter what firmware version is released, the iPhone Dev Team always comes though with alterations to its iconic tool in order to help iOS users liberate their otherwise heavily-restricted devices.
