With the introduction of the Hulu Plus for Windows Phone app on Monday allowing it to finally be scrubbed from the list of "apps Windows Phone needs but doesn't yet have," a couple more significant apps for the platform have today seen updates. The Foursquare app has finally been updated for Windows Phone 8, while Microsoft has made some novel alterations to its home-cooked YouTube app. Details and the download link, as ever, can be found after the break.
Although not everybody has been keen on the tiled interface, Windows 8 continues to sell in vast numbers, and having released late last year, recently passed the 100 million mark in terms of licenses sold, compared to 60 million licences this January alone. It's a significant milestone, and despite the rather mixed reception, Windows 8 appears to be selling at the same rate as its predecessor, Windows 7, which also took around six months to reach 100 million.

Nike's FuelBand has become a popular accessory to the health and fitness conscious, and following a successful early 2012 launch, it looks as though the sports specialist is preparing a second generation of the accessory. According to information gathered by GearLive, the next Nike+ FeulBand could contain a heart rate / pulse monitor, improved display, and Bluetooth 4.0, among other features.

The iWatch concepts have been rolling through thick and fast these past few months, and with Apple said to have a team of over 100 developers and engineers on the task of bringing such a device to market, it doesn't feel as much of a pipedream as it used to. Bill Gates has stepped out and described Apple's iPad as "frustrating" to use, noting that the device should take a leaf from the book of Microsoft's Surface. He believes that iPad users miss key features such as the use of a physical keyboard and access to Microsoft Office, and if the Cupertino company were to take some cues from the Surface, owners of the Apple slate would enjoy a more gratifying experience.
